National Donate Life Month (NDLM) was established by Donate Life America and its partnering organizations in 2003. Observed in April each year, National Donate Life Month helps raise awareness about donation, encourages Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to honor those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.
Let Life Sing
In 2025, let life sing! Birds are known across many cultures as one of the most welcomed and visible signs of spring. They represent both new beginnings and visits from loved ones who have passed away. The yearly return of birds and their songs offer us a sense of peace and hope.
National Donate Life Month is a time to educate about organ, eye and tissue donation, and to honor and remember donors and the lives they have saved and healed. Your decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor gives hope to the 100,000 people on the national organ transplant waiting list who are waiting for a second chance at life.
During National Donate Life Month and throughout the year, join us in helping save and heal lives: register your decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor, learn more about living donation, and support the Donate Life cause.
Lifesharing will man an informational table in the front lobby of Paradise Valley Hospital on Thursday, April 3, from 10 AM-2 PM. Meet with representatives from Lifesharing to learn more about organ donation.
And PVH staff are invited to attend presentation about organ donation to be held in the Cafeteria Conference Room on April 24, from 12-1 PM. Representatives from Lifesharing will be there, as well as an organ donation recipient to give their testimonial. Come to learn, listen, and to ask questions. They will also feature a raffle for give-aways.
