The Bayview Crisis Stabilization Unit provides hospital-based emergency behavioral health services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year for individuals 18 years old and older who require a timely response to psychiatric emergencies to prevent decompensation and increase wellbeing.

Our services include:

  • Behavioral Health Urgent Care (Stay up to 24 hours)
  • CSU accepts PERT referrals
  • Transportation upon completion of treatment and upon time of discharge
  • Meals and snacks
  • Shower room
  • Emergency medication refills and medication support with a psychiatrist
  • Psychiatric assessment
  • Behavioral health assessment
  • Inpatient referrals
  • Case management referrals
  • Crisis house referrals
  • Substance use treatment referrals
  • On-going care coordination including linkages to behavioral health services
  • Translation services available for over 200 languages including ASL
